White Beans Humus

Ingredients

Vegan

Makes: 1 small bowl
Time: 10 minutes

1 cup cooked white beans
4 tablespoons natural soy yoghurt
1 garlic clove
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon nutritional yeast (or plain brewer’s yeast)
1 coffee spoon powder cumin
1 coffee spoon saffron
1 pinch black pepper
salt
 to taste

To sprinkle
thyme and walnuts to taste

Preparation

1. Place the ingredients into a food processor and blend until you obtain a creamy and homogeneous mixture.

Note: This Been paste is ideal as a starter or as a complement to a main dish.
